I started out as an actor. After three summer stock seasons in high school and college—while also training in modern dance and ballet—the idea of fusing dance and theatre fascinated me.
Later I often incorporated texts and characters/voices in my dances. After college I appeared in movies by Andy Warhol, Gregory Markopoulos, Jonas Mekas, and later Michael Blackwood, Robyn Brentano and Andrew Horn.
Recently, vocal transformations and character voices along with the digital possibilities of computer software and YouTube's publishing platform have opened up new opportunities…
